The final episode maintains the humor, the characters, and the typical subject matter of “Slice N Deis,” but “Brandeis TeleVoyeurs” takes the show in a slightly more avant-garde direction. Having reached a satisfactory sitcom production quality in “The Pact,” the crew decided to use the final episode as a bridge between the sitcom aesthetic of “Slice N Deis” and the potentially more experimental style of their post-“Slice N Deis” productions. Here, it is filmed like “Curb Your Enthusiasm” meets “The Office,” full of improvised dialogue and mockumentary interviews.
In “Brandeis TeleVoyeurs,” Ronnie and Brendon come upon the ability to hack into Public Safety’s security system, and decide to create a “Truman Show”-esque BTV show following Ed about his daily life. The episode is full of surprising cameos, ridiculous twists, and some of the funniest situations in the show’s history. Despite the shift in style, it provides a very fitting conclusion to the seven-episode series.

Fun fact: There were two bonuses for the many people who attended the screening. First, a recap looking back at all six episodes; and second, a brand new “Slice N Deis Digital Short,” the very first in a series of under-five minute films starring some of the “Slice N Deis” characters.
