Arguably the first episode with a well-structured plot, “Everybody Hates Ronnie” is modeled on every great Seinfeld episode: a few seemingly unrelated stories collide in an unexpected way. In this case, Walter joins the new fraternity Alpha Sigma Zeta, Ronnie starts a relationship with a transfer student, and Lindsay investigates for The Justice. You’ll have to watch the whole episode to understand exactly why “Everybody Hates Ronnie.”
Fun fact: “Everybody Hates Ronnie” was the first episode to have deleted scenes. An extended pot-smoking sequence that aired in the first screening, as well as a series of phone calls that referenced the Walter-Lindsay relationship were cut from the final version of the episode.
