Few more updates from BTV here:

BTV co-sponsored an event with the Film, Television, and Interactive Media department to bring "Hairspray" (2007) to Brandeis. The screening was followed by a Q&A with star Nikki Blonsky who was at Brandeis to be in the pilot episode of "The Hall", BTV's newest comedy series.

We are still looking for new E-Board members, so please email btv@brandeis.edu or come to one of our meetings in room 339 of the Shapiro Campus Center, 8pm every Wednesday.

All of the most up-to-date films, TV shows, documentaries, and everything else that BTV has done should be up on channel 65 in their correct programming order by the end of this week.

BTV also receives messages from people at Brandeis, in Waltham, and the greater Boston area who are looking for students to film events or work with clubs outside of Brandeis. We always send these out to our mailing list. To subscribe, send a message to sympa@lists.brandeis.edu containing one line in the body of the message: subscribe brandeistv.

While we continue to edit The Hall and develop new content, tune to channel 65 if you're on a connected TV on Brandeis campus, or watch us on IPTV at https://netinfo.unet.brandeis.edu/iptv/, or check us out on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/user/brandeistelevision!

Hi everyone, here are some updates as to what BTV is currently up to:

This past weekend we shot the first episode of "The Hall", BTV's newest comedy series. The pilot episode stars Nikki Blonsky, Golden Globe nominee for 2007's "Hairspray". We will continue to shoot more episodes over the next several weekends.

The BTV Youtube channel is back up and running! The channel name is "brandeistelevision" so be sure to check it out if you'd like to catch up on the latest BTV products without having to tune to channel 65. Not all of the most recent episodes of TV shows such as Little Hands and Stanjy are up as of now, but we're working on getting them up ASAP. In the meantime, you can check out the HI-LARIOUS Little Hands channel here: http://www.youtube.com/user/LittleHandsTV

BTV is also looking for new members for our E-board as well as our general board. The E-board positions that are currently available are channel director, publicity director, and meeting director. Email btv@brandeis.edu or come to one of our meetings at 8 pm every Wednesday in room 339 of the Shapiro Campus Center if you're interested!

Also make sure to look out for our semester-ly screening in Chums that will be happening in the next couple of weeks. We have some great things, from TV shows, to short films, to music videos that we'll be premiering.

One more thing...while the previous BTV members were kind and gracious enough to upload many of their videos to the "Videos" section of this website, we'd prefer for people to watch our Youtube channel as that's where the most up-to-date programs will be.

Here are some things we have been working on this semester:

We finished post-production on Pinch Me. It looks fantastic!
We finished up Art & Jealousy and it also came out great! Thanks to everyone who helped out.
Several of our members participated in the IndieLouies Film Festival 48 Hour Contest and made Still Alive, which won Best 48 Hour Film.
We had our Spring Film Premiere, showing Pinch Me, Art & Jealousy, Quagmire, and Still Alive, along with several commercials and trailers for Roomies. We had about 50 people turn up to eat, view, and dance. It was a huge success.

Hi all,

Some of you may have noticed some issues with BTV shows broadcasting to campus televisions via channel 65. Namely, viewers have been reporting images stuttering or freezing up all together. We have determined that the problem lies with Brandeis's broadcasting network, and have been in touch with Media and Technology Services in order to get the issues resolved as soon as possible. MTS has assured us that they are working with our service providers to fix these glitches.

Happy New Year, 2010!

Welcome back to Brandeis for the spring semester!

This semester is an exciting one for BTV. We have a number of great short films and TV shows in development, and will be holding on-campus premieres for them as we roll them out.

This semester is the perfect time to get involved with BTV and get loads of on-hands experience under your belt! Also, many leadership positions are opening since many current executive board members are seniors.

Be sure to stop by the CLUB FAIR this Sunday to learn more about BTV.

This is really short, READ IT!

This meeting we taught editing and scriptwriting using (our NEW!)FinalCutPro7 and FinalDraft respectively. You should'a been there!

The more we see you is the more we'll think of you when we look for people to replace our old hag seniors(they may be old, but they are very wise. . .and they give candy)

From now on Board meetings and General meetings are split, General meetings take 2 sec to read, Board meetings take 5~10min if you take your time and read between the lines.
